Association of Slovenian artists ZDSLU organized traditional group exhibition 'May Salon 2012'. The exhibition opened on Wednesday, 23th May at 19.00 in Hall 'Galerija' at Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. It included over 150 artists, members of ZDSLU.
Exhibition tend to be dependent and highly involved in the current cultural and social environment. It joins with other cultural manifestations, which still grow nostalgic idea about their own culture and image, which is today, in a time of global identity, all the more important because it is the only field that enables us to keep our own identity. The need for finding and developing creativity coincides with the general and global trends in the development of a creative society.
This is an exhibition which brings together different generations, scopes and approaches of artistic creation, where it maintains a traditional painting and sculpture, installation art and new media. Within it carries the idea and optimism for a better, opened and more active society.
