I admire "Images of the old world" and try to maintain their life and value by relating to them, actualizing them and ennobling them with personal experiences.
I like to use distinctive color contrasts and search for expression in the rhythm of lines. Sometimes I paint with greater color stains and try to create color dominants; I try to influence the viewer emotionally.
An important topic of my artistic interest is referred to period at the end of 19th century in Russia, which presents turning point in history for that country and consequently the whole world.

I'm currently working on a series of paintings named 'The Four Seasons'. Stylistically I'm trying to find the right balance between relaxed, comfortable gesture and technical sophistication. When the cycle is finished, it will include landscape paintings in all seasons of the year.
